Microsoft Fabric brings Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, analytics and Power BI closer together within a more integrated ecosystem. In modernization projects, this can reduce architectural fragmentation and simplify the management of the information pipeline.

The real objective is not simply to “migrate to Fabric”. The goal is to build a more modern, scalable data platform aligned with future reporting, analytics and AI needs.

Medallion Architecture: separating layers for better governance

In modernization projects, E-project uses a Medallion approach to progressively separate raw data, curated data and data prepared for analytical consumption. This makes transformations easier to understand and simplifies maintenance over time.
